Project Director/Senior Scientist

The Project Director/Senior Scientist will be responsible for marketing, developing, planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of large multi-discipline nuclear related projects. Position will be involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently. Will establish client relations and be involved with initiating and coordinating marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. Will be responsible for organizing and managing the staff through the entire project development to accurately complete workload on schedule. Will be responsible for the execution of training for personnel as established by strategic plans. Will work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. In guiding each project through its life cycle, the Project Director/Senior Scientist will perform market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to illustrate the project’s relation to corporate development activities. Will also have responsibility for the overall technology development, including collaborative and licensing arrangements with outside parties, and for scientific accuracy, technical requirements and for analysis algorithms in nuclear project and instrument development.

Minimum Requirements

PhD. or equivalent. 15+ years of project direction experience in the nuclear field. Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a valid security clearance.
